The theme was "safety in the kitchen". After a wide-ranging research of kitchen hazards I chose one that puts the food rather than the person cooking in danger. After cooking vegetables, noodles or pasta in hot water, a lot of people try to use their tableware or spatula to hold back the content of their pan in attempting to lose the water. Often you are just barely balancing between losing your water successfully and losing some -or all-of your food in the sink. In this product I combined the strainer with a spatula.
